Santorini Wedding Venue Prices
What the island's venues really charge — published fees where they exist, and how the seasonal ones are quoted.
The short answer
Santorini venue rental runs from €0 at the island's free wedding venues to €450 per hour at the Saint Nicholas chapel. The large caldera event venues price by season and are quoted per date — as your planners, we get the current fee for every venue on your shortlist when we check your date.

More Venues, Quoted on Request
These venues are all private properties with their own seasonal rates. Tell us your date and guest count and we bring back current quotes for the ones that fit:
- Santa Irini — A chapel yard in a wonderful location, overlooking the volcano, the sea and the nearby islands. An excellent spot for the absolute Santorini backdrop
- El Viento — A century-old stone-built windmill in the caldera of Megalochori, recently renovated, with Aegean and sunset views
- Venetsanos Winery — A dramatic winery terrace built into the cliff above the old port, with one of the widest caldera views on the island
- Gem Villas — A private villa setting with an infinity terrace, suited to intimate ceremonies and small receptions
- Dana Villas — A classic Firostefani terrace venue — whitewashed levels stepping down towards the caldera
- Profitis Elias — A blue-domed chapel with spectacular views of the ocean and the volcano, semi-private, with a panoramic outlook in Imerovigli
- Theros Beach Bar — A beachfront setting on the black sand, for couples who want the sea rather than the cliff
- Suites of the Gods — A cave-suite terrace on the caldera path, intimate and sheltered, ideal for small ceremonies

Venue Questions Couples Ask Us
How much does a wedding venue cost in Santorini?
From nothing at all — the island has free wedding venues with no rental fee — to €450 per hour at the Saint Nicholas chapel, and seasonal rates at the large caldera event venues, which we confirm when we check your date. Every venue on Santorini is private property with its own fee.
Why don't the big venues publish a single price?
Because their fees change with the season, the day of the week and the size of the event. When you tell us your date and guest count, we get the current quote from each venue you're considering — that number is exact, not an estimate.
Are there really free wedding venues in Santorini?
Yes — chapel yards, open terraces and beach spots that charge no rental fee, including the Profitis Elias chapel with its ocean and volcano views. They pair naturally with our €950 Basic Civil Wedding for the lowest-cost legal wedding on the island.
Is the venue included in your wedding packages?
In six of them, yes — each package page states clearly whether the venue is included. Everywhere else the venue is quoted separately, so you only pay for the venue you actually choose.
